For nearly five years, New Jersey Solidarity - Activists for the Liberation of Palestine has reached thousands with its work educating the public about the Palestinian struggle for national liberation. In the face of a massive propaganda war against the people of Palestine waged by the mainstream media, and the military, economic and political war waged against the people of Palestine by the Israeli regime, fully supported by the U.S. government - waging its own war against the Arab people of Iraq - NJS has worked to educate the public about the truth about Palestine, to celebrate Palestinian culture, and to build a movement capable of challenging those wars and providing meaningful support to Palestinian cause.
This work is accomplished only with your support. As a grassroots, all-volunteer organization, we rely on contributions and donations from people of conscience to sustain our activity.
Your donations to NJS make it possible for us to continue to execute successful, innovative and educational events, like the hundreds of speaking events, cultural performances, film screenings, conferences and forums we have hosted over the past five years. They make it possible for us to publish Al-Awda newspaper, providing critical voices of resistance and liberation an important published outlet, and for us to continue to make publicly available rare historical documents of the Palestinian struggle in electronic formats, reaching a global audience. Your support enables us to support and organize tours of speakers and cultural performers from Palestine, to build delegations to Palestine, building crucial links of solidarity. Your support also enables us to take new initiatives - for example, working to establish a physical space that can serve as a space for events, meetings and activities, and a center of Palestinian and solidarity activity in the area.
